
The Biggest Mistake People Make With Their Sales Flow
Sales flows are my jam.
I love everything about them and have spent all my time learning how to master them.
Why?
Because they are an essential asset to your business!
But people still get a lot of it wrong…
So, today I am going to share to you the BIGGEST mistake I see people make with their sales flows.
So what does a sales flow actually do?
When done properly, a sales flow takes your client on a seamless journey that ends at a no brainer purchase or action.
As a reference, it takes on average 44 days for someone to go from not knowing you to making a purchase.
Seriously.
This isn’t always a quick process because you should always be building that like, know and trust factor, which means guiding them on this journey and making sure it’s all connected.
This timing thing is something that I always see people get hung up on. They want a quick sale, but in reality, you have to take the time to nurture people.
So what’s the biggest issue I see?
Separated sales flows.
We’ve got all these great opt-ins with no connection on the back end. It’s not cohesive and you actually have no clue where people are going.
From the customer end, they’re being sent from opt-in to opt-in, getting email after email, leaving them confused at the end.
Results? No purchase.
Why? They are unsure what they’re getting themselves into because they are more than likely confused about this whole journey.
From our end, we are also confused because we can’t keep track of where in the journey our clients are at. We don’t know how to follow up because we aren’t sure what we should be addressing.
Results? No follow up because we don’t know where they are. But most importantly, you can’t optimize your process because you don’t have the numbers to know what needs to be updated.
Why? Because you are just as confused as your clients because nothing actually connects.
