First, what is an automation?
An automation is anytime anything happens automatically after a customer or client takes action. For instance, someone in your audience signs up for your free opt-in. The email that thanks them and deliverys your freebie – that’s automation. Or so it should be.
And it isn’t always necessarily email that can be automated.
You can automate your Facebook with bots, your subscription payments, adding tags, client invoice payments (if the card is on file), expenses that get added to your accounting program.
You can honestly automate almost anything these days.
Why is automation so important?
There are two main reasons…
#1 It saves you time – You are literally ONE person, so as a human, you can really only do so much. Automation will help you to tackle so many tasks in a higher quantity than what you physically could do on a daily basis.
#2 It saves you money – It more so actually helps you make more money. Those piddly little time-consuming tasks eat up your valuable time, so if you automate some of those tasks, it gives you MORE time to concentrate on those tasks that do in fact bring in more money.
And we all like money. Let’s. Get. Real.
