How Going With The Flow Benefits Your Marketing Strategy
If you’ve been following me for a while now, I’m sure you’ve heard me say “go with the flow” plenty of times.
But what does that actually mean?
Why should you apply it to your marketing?
How do you apply it to your marketing?

Today, we’re talking all about how to go with the flow and how it benefits your marketing strategy.
What does it mean?
Going with the flow is one thing I will say over and over.
Why?
Because it ensures that you’re moving in an organic way.
Flow is when things are coming natural.
You aren’t forcing anything to fit or work. You are essentially letting go of the reigns and just letting it all happen.
It’s the most pure way to make sure that your marketing strategy resonates with you and your followers.
Why do we want flow in our marketing?
As I mentioned above, it’s more natural and organic. This will allow you to connect better and grow that know, like, and trust factor because it’s the most pure version of you that can exist.
It also allows you to be more adaptable in situations where you may need to change the direction you are going. You aren’t attached to your strategy when you go with the flow because the flow state is all about flexibility.
Lastly, going with the flow helps you work in a more feminine mindset. Structure and rules are shut down to let you find the balance between freedom and strategy.
You will have a softer demeanor towards your strategy and reach the alignement that you need for a solid marketing plan.
Keep in mind that this doesn’t mean perfect.
That’s what’s so great about going with the flow. You aren’t contsantly pushing for absolute perfection, because it doesn’t exist.
But when you are happy with your strategy, you know it will work just as you need it to and if you need to tweak things later, you can!
How can you get into the state of flow?
First, you need to remember it’s going to be different. Oh, so so different. But it’s going to be so worth it. So step one is to keep an open and accepting mind.
Getting into the actual state is different to everyone. So you just need to find your routine to get you into that flow.
Here’s mine as an example:
- Cup of tea. Tea to me is not only a way to help me wake up, it is also a way for me to be in tuned with myself. I focus on the smell, taste, and more importantly, the warmth and calm is spreads throughout my body.
- Journaling. My journals are so important to getting me into the flow. I colored pencils that feel good to me and organize my thoughts. And journaling always helps me declutter my mind. Your mind can only hold on to so much and when it’s jam-packed full, that’s when you start to feel lost and overwhelmed.
- Pull cards. I LOVE pulling cards. To me, it’s really fun and helps me focus on what I’ve been doing and what I can look out for in my near future. It helps me not only get into the state of flow, but also help reign it into a more focused state of flow. Because yes, you do want to be flexible and let things happen when they do, but also keep you prepared and on the right track.
Be open to the state of flow.
Let go of the tense structures and rules and allow yourself to invent and create in a state of relaxation. Once that all happens, you’ll see the drastic changes in your marketing and how much better it resonates within you.
