What is the true purpose of your sales page?

To sell your product right?

Nope.

Your sales page actually has very little to do with your product.

I know, you’re shocked aren’t you?

I was too when I first learned this concept.

So today, let’s dive into what your sales page is truly about.

In reality, your sales page is actually all about walking the person who’s reading it through the transformation they need to become the person who buys your product.

Wait what?

Let me explain.

When you create your sales page, you have to assue that you’re taking a person who is not ready, does not know about you, your product or why they need it.

Your job is to walk them through the transformation that need to undergo in order to become a person who IS ready to buy.

Do you see how this is different than just seeing your sales page as selling your product?

When you look at your sales page purpose as selling your product, you’re naturally going to focus on the details of what’s included, all the features, testimonials, and how amazing it is.

Which is good. We want to know those things!

But it’s not what is most important.

The best thing that you can do on your sales page to get it to convert is to address their concerns and fears.

This is what we need to be doing…

First, grab their attention and get them interested in learning more.

Then, tell your transformation story.

And through this story you’re going to address all the fears and objections that could come up.

Can they do it?
Are they ready?
Do they have the money?
Are they at the right level?
Are they going to have the time?

There are so many different objections that can come up and it’s your job to address them and walk the reader through the transformation they need to get past them and become a person who is ready to buy.

If you don’t address these thing, they stay in the state of not knowing.

And they don’t purchase.

Because they’re still stuck in those fears.

The purpose of your sales page is to take them out of those fears and walk them through this transformation.

To get them to the end where they’re thinking YES. I can do this, I know I can do this.

Where they’re excited and ready and can’t wait to hit that BUY button.

All because you walked them through the transformation.

This is what gets people to buy.

This is what your sales page is all about.

Include all the little details you need, but never forget what the true purpose of your sales page is.
