Facebook groups.
Everyone and their grandmothers are talking about Facebook groups.
And it’s for good reason.
Facebook groups are so important for your business.
I’m not saying you need to have a Facebook group, not at all. And I’m sure you’ve heard a lot of people tell you, you need to have a Facebook group and it’s the best way to grow, blah blah blah. Just chill.
You do not need to have your own group to be successful using Facebook groups. I want to get that out of the way right now.
Today, I’m going to be giving you three reasons why just being active in Facebook groups will help you grow your business. So let get started!
Number one is that it builds a community around your business.
And yes, you can do this if you have your own Facebook group, but you can also do it if you are just participating in others. The people who have these other groups love the participation and the engagement.
Posting in these groups is really good for the owners of these groups, but it’s also really great for you because you’re putting yourself out there for people who may not get to see you in the first place. And you’ll be able to brand yourself in these groups.
Yes, we’re always branding. And by doing this you’ll start to build this community around your business. All the people in the group will get to know you for your business and the things you post related to your business.
They’re going to get to know you for being this awesome resource of everything related to your business. That’s how you create a community around your business without even having a Facebook group. You just have to participate.
Number two is networking.
You obviously network outside of Facebook, its necessary for your business, so once again, let’s get that out of the way here.
But using Facebook groups to network and make connections with other entrepreneurs, other people in your field, related field or just having the support from other entrepreneurs is amazing. You’ll meet so many different people, so many amazing entrepreneurs you’ll connect with, learn from, and ask questions to.
For example, if you’re having an issue on your website, or you want to know what is the best business book for this is, or is this platform better than this platform when trying to make a decision on which to pick…Facebook groups are the perfect place for you to get that information!
You make connections, people are going to message you, and you are going to make so any new friends. And it’s really going to expand your business reach too 😉
People are going to refer to you; you’re going to refer to other people. This is why Facebook groups for networking is so, so key.
I have met so many people through Facebook groups that have ended up referring business to me or even become one of my clients, and it’s all through networking. Participating and networking.
And number three is that it finds you clients.
Which, HELLO! I should not have to explain why that’s a good thing. Posting in these Facebook groups builds a community around your business, it allows you to network with other entrepreneurs and it finds you clients because you are building your ‘know, like, and trust’ factor.
These people are getting to see samples of your work and seeing you contributing to this community. They’re going to start to notice you and you can participate in other things. For example, some groups do share-threads where you can put your opt-in out there, share your Facebook page or Instagram page, or share a post to get more engagement.
They’re just really great resources for getting people outside of your business to come back in and be your clients.
So those are my three reasons why Facebook groups are super important for your business and why you don’t even need to have one for them to be helpful.
