
Why You Should KonMari Your Life AND Your Business
As you probably know, everyone and their grandma can’t stop talking about the KonMari Method.
Naturally, I got curious enough to check a couple of episodes out and it makes perfect sense.
Why would you want to keep things that don’t spark joy?!
Today, I want to talk about the KonMari method and how you can use it in your business.
What I really loved about the KonMari Method is that it forces you to look around you and get rid of things that literally don’t serve you anymore.
This is absolutely something you should be following in your business.
I mean, why the hell do you want to do things that don’t spark joy for you? This is your business and it should reflect your passion. If you’re stuck doing things you don’t like to actually do, get rid of it. If you can’t because it’s a vital piece of your business, delegate it.
Take me, for example- this past December, I decided to discontinue handling individual social media accounts. It was no longer speaking to me, so I stopped.
And guess what happened?
Things started to change for the better. I was more focused on sales flows and marketing strategies. I was able to create an amazing team and work with some amazing people.
What happens if you keep doing the BS you hate?
People aren’t stupid. So if you’re whipping things up that spark no joy for you, your clients are going to be able to tell. So save yourself that awkward interaction and just don’t do it in the first place.
KonMari your house, your business, and your marketing strategy. Build yourself an amazing team and delegate those tasks you can’t get rid of to someone who actually enjoys doing it. Marketing is an energetic exchange, so be sure the energy yours gives off is the right one.
